Mary Margaret Keys grew up in South Florida, before attending the University of Mississippi for her undergraduate degree. During her time at Ole Miss, she was involved in the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society.
In 2020, Mary Margaret earned her Juris Doctor and Diploma in Comparative Law from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in law school, Mary Margaret was active in many student organizations, including her role as Secretary-Treasurer of the Public Interest Law Society. She additionally volunteered with Capital Area CASA as an advocate for a child in the foster care system in East Baton Rouge Parish. Mary Margaret’s passion for helping others was recognized as she was the chosen recipient of the Ginger Berrigan Worker Bee Award for completing over 150 hours of Pro Bono and Community Service.
Following law school, Mary Margaret worked as an advocate attorney for adult and juvenile mental health, and children in the foster care system across the state.
Mary Margaret joined Bianca | Matkins in June 2024 as an associate attorney. While working at Bianca | Matkins, she hopes to continue to pursue her passion of helping those who are unable to advocate for themselves.
